Founded in 1948 by Rudolf Dassler, Puma has grown to be a worldwide footwear empire which as stood the test of time, cementing its position at the table of old school footwear giants still at the center of modern culture. Although starting as a strictly athletic footwear brand, mainly for the football pitch, Dassler's eye for design could not be kept off the streets for long and in addition to success on the track and hard top, fan favorites like the Suede Classic, Clyde, and Roma will go down as some of the most legendary casual silhouettes every made - and are still quite common to see on the street thank you very much. But apart from its long history and consist output, what keeps Puma exciting is its ability to adapt and innovate, a process we'll never get tired of seeing.
The Suede first launched in 1968 and gets a camo-inspired update this season. Its full suede uppers feature wavy panels that give the illusion of camouflage.
